By removing an inefficient old-style filter and retrofitting in new AC1415 floats (far right) and more efficient and less expensive AC2050 in-line filters, you will realize up to a 50% savings on fluid usage plus a substantial savings on your filter replacement costs. Not only are AmeriCode's AC2050 filters significantly less expensive but due to their more efficient design they require less frequent changes.
The reason why this upgrade saves so much on fluid costs is easy to understand. All fluid's evaporate. When you constantly blow air onto fluid it evaporates much more quickly. Differential air flow blowing into the fluids is how Videojet printers monitor fluid levels. By replacing this differential air system with floats, fluid evaporation rates are greatly reduced therefore saving you money!
Additionally, the ink in CIJ coders needs to maintain a specific viscosity in order to print properly. Drying the ink can take it out of the proper viscosity. This can directly lead to increases in down time as well as other problems by improperly thickening and drying the ink.
Please note the filter assembly (right) currently used by your coders. This is nothing more than a large, costly piece of plastic with a small piece of screen material at the bottom. Now note the in-line filter (bottom right) we recommend. This is a true filter that will keep the fluids at a higher purity level going into the ink module. This filter is also much less costly and needs to be replaced less often.
The time it takes to retrofit your coder with our Positive Air to Float Conversion takes less than an hour and the kit cost is only $ 250.00(US dollars). With all the money you will save buying fluids and filters, not to mention the money you'll save from loss of production and reduced maintenance, this is truly a win-win solution! |
